| This is a vintage armless secretary chair, possibly walnut but not sure, with a swivel adjustable seat & adjustable leather backrest. The backrest support is also wood, has the original leather upholstery on the cushion and is also adjustable for height and rake. The seat is 16" wide x 15" deep and is contoured. It has the original patented seat mechanism, stamped "Cook Quality, Cambridge Mass.". It may have been refinished at some time and it is probably from the 1920-1940's era.
